Nestled in the picturesque community of Rumson, New Jersey, this project exemplifies Francione Design Group's commitment to creating bespoke outdoor environments. The client envisioned a space that would not only enhance their property's aesthetic but also offer a sophisticated yet inviting atmosphere. Our design brief centered on achieving clean lines and a timeless appeal, ensuring the new hardscape would complement the home's architecture and the lush surrounding landscape.
To bring this vision to life, we meticulously selected Techo-Bloc Travertina slabs, chosen for their expansive 30”x30” dimensions and inherent elegance. The subtle texture and sophisticated color palette of Travertina provided the ideal foundation for a modern aesthetic. A key design element was the integration of precisely executed grass joints between the large format slabs. This deliberate choice masterfully softens the hard edges, introducing an organic texture and a vital connection to nature, while maintaining the overall minimalist and contemporary feel.
